Dear miners, veterans of the coal industry, I want to say thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for the labour and the feat of arms that you've committed. I'd like to wish you happiness and peace, because only you know what the real sun and the peaceful skies are. Happy holiday, happy Miner's Day!" Alexander Zakharchenko said.

Also, the Head of State added: "I want to emphasize that for Donbass, Miner's Day is one of the most important holidays. Thanks to the fact that each of us has a miner's character, we were able to stand."

A deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Crimea, Andrey Kozenko, joined the congratulations of the representatives of the coal mining industry. The Russian politician noted that for the Crimean people, Donbass miners are an example of nobility, stamina and great diligence.

"I am sure that, thanks to your desire for victory, no Ukrainian blockades will break the integration of Donbass with Russia," Andrey Kozenko said. He also read out a congratulatory address from the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.

"Dear residents of the Donetsk People's Republic! I wholeheartedly congratulate you on Miner's Day. On this holiday I want, first of all, to thank colliers, workers of mines and factories, which, despite the difficult situation, ensure the uninterrupted coal mining. Special thanks to veterans of the miners' work, honour and respect to all those who spared no effort and health to fulfill their civic duty, providing the country with coal. It was your hands that forged the glory of Donbass!" the congratulation says.

After the welcoming words, the best representatives of the industry were awarded with Special Certificates and Gratitudes of the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic in a solemn atmosphere.
